We loved our dinner here, a special homemade Italian meal, perfect for date night or group dinner. We absolutely loved the Octopus and the Cavatelli Capish — A take on mulberry street classic .....cavatelli pasta in a roasted pepper creme sauce with crumbled sausage — literally my new favorite pasta dish
The most delicious food!! The best we had in NYC! Sure, the Italian lady that runs it has flair. If you can handle that you will have the best ravioli and fettuccini alfredo you have ever had Maybe you can find food this good in Italy?
Fabulous food, I had the pollo Francesca and the chicken was melt in your mouth. We had an antipasti of cheese snd meats again delicious - def recommend. Service was impeccable, great atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome
Restaurant with top notch Italian palate. Mauro and all their staff members are so welcoming. They have happy hour, plus deal specials and some beautiful ambience that makes you feel immersed in the Italian cuisine. Definitely one of the most delicious red sauce on lasagna. We will definitely be coming back.

We decided to come to Lunella last-minute on a Saturday night and were quickly seated (party of 2). It was such a quintessential NYC Little Italy experience! For starters, the food was FANTASTIC! We ordered the burrata and prosciutto, penne a la vodka, and steak. The service and atmosphere really made the experience - Lunella is run by an old-school Italian signora who made it feel so incredibly authentic! The servers were super friendly as well. We would definitely return!

I was born and raised in Italy so I know what Italian food is. The carbonara and the pizza margherita were just amazing. They gave us italian bread and high quality olive oil to put on bread which was to die for. The atmosphere is 100% italian, the owner is the typical italian woman which I loved she was so fun and nice and the waiters were so nice as well. We’ll come back soon!
